AFGE Local _____________, per Article 44, Section 4 A; of the VA/AFGE Master Agreement is requesting a briefing on implementation of ___________________________ that was negotiated nationally affecting bargaining unit employees at this (facility and/or duty station). AFGE Local __________ after receiving the briefing may be submitting our formal demand to bargain on the matter.

The briefing should be scheduled within ten working days after the appropriate management chief negotiator and/or official receives this letter. Per Article 46 Section 2 B; the negotiation sessions shall be scheduled at mutually agreeable times, dates and places that are reasonable and convenient.
