In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

In This Briefing: Have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The nation will be observing the 4th of July (Independence Day), and in doing so we will remember and honor the men and women who have kept and currently keep our country safe and independent. On this day each year, we will gather with our family and friends to remember the anniversary of the signing of our Declaration of Independence.
Our founding fathers had a vision and the courage to tell the world that all
men are created equal and that our country would have certain
rights, which among
these are Life,
Our vision year after year is steadfast…absolute, indisputable, and not to be forfeited by forces of other nations who challenge our way of life and the future of our country. Our ideals are as rock solid as they were on July 4, 1776. Equality, individual rights, freedom, and opportunity continue to be the core values of our country.
I know that we will continue to endure challenges in our future, and I am sure that we will be able to meet these challenges head on. We are still the number one country in the world that strives for global peace, justice, and freedom. I am pleased to join in with this nation and around the world in celebrating Independence Day.
On behalf of the National VA Council, I wish you and your families a safe and happy Fourth of July!
