In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

In This Briefing:  2007 Thanksgiving Greetings!

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is again upon us.  It seems just like yesterday that we were celebrating Thanksgiving 2006 with friends and family ~ where has the year gone?  Once again we have a chance to reflect on the many blessings that we have.

 

We are so lucky to be living in this great nation that was generated by the courage and endurance from the Pilgrims in 1620 and whose determination shaped the foundation of today’s society and our molded our modern day hero’s who defend the dream set by our fore fathers as well as for those who have died for its cause.

 

As we sit down with our family and friends, let’s celebrate the past and present sacrifices that make Thanksgiving so special.  Give thanks to those who envisioned a dream of a free and independent nation and give praise to those today who still defend it.
