In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

President’s Briefing:  Contract Negotiations in Dallas, Texas ~ Last Day

Today is the last day of Contract Negotiations at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

 

We have been discussing Article 22, “Merit Promotion” with NO movement at this time.

 

Much thanks to Mr. Donald Burrell, Local President and the Executive Board of Local #2437.  They have been the “hosts of all times”!  We appreciate the support and hospitality that has been shown to the Union Negotiation Team during this week.
