In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

The V.A. will authorize 24 hours of Official Time plus your regular 8 hours of  Holiday pay November 8^th thru November 12, 2010 for the AFGE/NVAC Training Convention. 

 

You will only need to take 8 hours of Annual Leave for the entire week.    You will need to take 4 hours for the Business Meeting,11/08/2010 and 4 hours for the Election, 11/09/2010.
