In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

In This Briefing:  It’s here!  The 2011 Master Agreement is finally here…

We have just been informed by VACO that the 2011 Master Agreement has been copied and is ready for distribution. 

 

Accordingly to Article 51, Section 12 (Access to Agreement) (A); “The Department will provide to each employee on duty as of the date of this Agreement and to all unit employees entering on duty after that date at no cost, booklet copies of this Agreement, printed in type that can be read easily.”

 

And Article 51, Section 12 (B); “The Department will initially provide the Council with 250 additional copies and each local with 20 additional copies of the Agreement.”
