In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

1. If you are a New Orleans employee detailed to a facility. That detail ends April 30, 2006, (please see attached information).

2. If you do not have a permanent placement and you do not respond with the attachments to this email, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE an employee of the Federal Government, after April 30, 2006.

3. You MUST request an extension past April 30, 2006, and this request must be made ON OR BEFORE April 12, 2006 (see attached extension form).
