In order to further improve the lines of communication and to respond to the concerns between the National VA Council and you our members, I have established a National VA Council Briefing. This NVAC Briefing will bring you the latest news and developments within DVA and provide you with the current status of issues this Council is currently addressing. I believe that this NVAC Briefing will greatly enhance the way in which we communicate and the way in which we share new information, keeping you better informed.

In This Briefing: AFGE/NVAC Sanctioned Title 38 Email Group

The AFGE/NVAC Executive Board has decided to form a Title 38 email group for the NVAC Council.  This particular email group will be the only Title 38 email group sanctioned by the Council.

If you or someone in your local would like to be participants in this email group, please forward your VA email address to the Council, either by fax (540-224-1931) or email (james.king3@med.gov), by close of business March 30, 2007. 

The Executive Board has also decided to form a Title 38 Mid-Term Bargaining Team.  This team will include Ms. Barbara Whitson-Casanova, Chairperson, (Little Rock, AR), Mr. David Mollett (Columbia, SC), Jeff Sladek (Tucson, AZ), and Nick DeVincenzo, (Brooklyn, NY).
